Description
Before the Modern Era of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup (1995-present), only five clubs had won the United States’ national championship four or more times. With this shirt, we honor those five teams that set the standard of excellence in American soccer in their respective eras. If you are a true American soccer fan and have an appreciation of this country’s rich soccer history, then this is the perfect shirt for you.
Proceeds from this shirt go to support TheCup.us, the only media outlet that gives full coverage, both past and present, to the US Open Cup. Since 2003, TheCup.us has spent countless hours researching, preserving and sharing the history of this great tournament and providing the media coverage that the US Open Cup deserves from qualifying all the way through the championship game. (NOTE: TheCup.us is not affiliated with the US Soccer Federation)
